E-Learning and E-Government – An Approach for Process-based Training and Learning in the Public Administration

As the processes in e-government are diversified and complex the need for an appropriate training and learning strategy for governmental employees and citizens arises. Purpose of this paper is to get the reader familiar with the terms “e-learning” and “process-based elearning in e-government”. A process-based approach for e-learning as add-on component for a holistic Business Process Management tool tailor-made for e-government will be presented and a scenario for a process-based e-learning system will close the paper.
